Go Mai is a Japanese term for metal of 5 layers. This Beautiful little knife is a 1095 core a layer of copper either side then a jacket of 150+layer 1095 and 15n20 pattern welded steel. Hand forged in a hidden tang design then hand sanded to 400 grit and etched to reveal the pattern. The handle is constructed with a copper bolster +pin and reclaimed hardwood.
